Patrons: The Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham, The Bishop of Nottingham, Sir David Lumsden MA DPhil MusB

Founded   in  1932,  the  Society  is  for  those interested  in  pipe organs  and classical organ music. Many members are organists though a number who do not play simply enjoy the organ and its  music.
Monthly meetings throughout the year  take the form of lectures, recitals, master classes, and visits to places of interest, often a Cathedral,  where  there is  usually an opportunity to play the organ.
We publish a quarterly newsletter Sequencer (recent issues can be downloaded here) and in common with many other organ societies we are affiliated to the IAO.
Many of our members are church organists and opportunities for appointments are frequently advertised through the Society.
If you would like to join the Society, an application form may be downloaded here or obtained from the Treasurer (contact details below) .
