Society visit to Oundle festival and local churches, July 2005

Our new President John Keys organised an extra visit this year, beginning with a recital by Mattias Wager on the Frobenius organ in Oundle School Chapel . . .   . . . and continuing with a very 'festive' lunch

Many of the organs in the locality are used by students at the organ school; the first one we visited was built by Vincent Woodstock in Fotheringhay parish church, and demonstrated for us by Simon Thomas Jacobs

Next we visited a well-restored small 1861 Walker  organ in Tansor parish church

. . and finally the parish church at Oundle
